Mental health FAQs

Important answers before you begin.

?Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Your care is protected by professional confidentiality standards. Any limits to confidentiality, such as safety-related circumstances, will be explained to you at the start of care.

?Do I need a diagnosis before starting?

No. Many patients begin care simply because something feels off or hard. Part of the evaluation is helping you understand what you're experiencing.

?How long does mental health care take?

It varies. Some patients benefit from short-term, focused support; others find value in longer-term care. Your clinician will discuss what's appropriate as you go.

?Are sessions in English or Spanish?

We offer bilingual support. Please let us know your preferred language when scheduling.

?If I'm in crisis, what should I do?

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Our clinic is not an emergency service.

If your question is not listed here, call our team and we will guide you to the right next step.
